泉州水なすの北野農園の代表の北野と申します。
先祖の苦労に感謝し、子孫のために努力するを座右の銘として、
何代も前の地域のご先祖様が大事にしていた種を探し求め復活させることができました。
様々な関係者のみなさまのお力添えに心から感謝申し上げます。
2022年に貝塚澤なすのWEBサイトを制作、商標登録申請しました。
現在になにわの伝統野菜にも申請し関係機関の審査を経て認証されることを待っている状態です。
私たち北野農園は1720年頃享保年間から300年以上大阪泉州の地で農業を営んでいますが都市化の流れでもうあと数代で地域の農業は滅びようとしています。そんな切迫した状況ですが、今できる事に集中し地域の遺伝資源の復活に成功しました。
これから貝塚澤なすからどのような物語が生まれるかわかりませんが、同じ地域の馬場なすとともに未来へつなげられたら光栄です。
